What You Will Do:

Seeking an Accountant to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of multiple real estate ventures including brokerage, development, and construction. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals and takes pride in producing accurate and timely financial information.

Project & Job Cost Accounting

· Track project costs including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses
· Prepare and maintain job cost reports and reconciliations
· Assist project managers with budget-to-actual analysis and variance explanations

Financial Reporting

·Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple entities
· Prepare daily journal entries and account reconciliations
· Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financial performance

Accounts Payable & Receivable

· Process vendor invoices and subcontractor payments
· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
· Support billing and collection efforts for projects
· Improve accounting processes and internal controls
· Support special projects
· Assist with annual audits and tax return preparation

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· 1-5 years of accounting experience (preferred if experience in construction or real estate)
· Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software

Skills

· Strong understanding of accounting principles
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Willingness to learn new systems and continuously improve processes
